On the morning of March 27, 2015, Tierra Hall, a junior at Jordan High School in Durham, NC, left her home for school. It was the Friday before Spring Break and Tierra had plans to spend time with her best friend, Amya. Tierra’s mother, Koteya Hall, knew of Tierra’s plans. So, when Tierra didn’t come home Friday night, Koteya assumed she was at a friend’s house. But that wasn’t the case. In fact, no one knew where Tierra was or that she was even missing. Before search efforts were underway, a tip comes in—a sighting of a young, Black female. Could this be a helpful clue in finding Tierra?
